The educational system today is a huge part of how a country as a whole functions. How the kids are being thought has an impact in the future, and not only in countries but in the world. Children and teenagers that are currently in school will run the country in the near future. People that are in power today are going to pass the power to these kids. The educational system is extremely important and it is a long way from being perfect. Although it has improved tremendously over the years, it has a long way to go. Mayor flaws can be found in the educational system today, let alone the past decade. Students nowadays want to do anything but work and study. Not all of them but a great majority. Many would argue that the newest generations are getting dumber and dumber as they go. With the current one being the pinnacle of laziness. When in fact students are smart but only when they want to be. Students are very smart when it comes to finding loops around the educational system when in reality they should be following it. The purpose of this article is not to complain about the students and teachers that we have now. The purpose of this article is to find ways to improve the educational system so that the students and teachers can work together for the student to one day be successful and not the other way around. The future of this world is sitting in classrooms from 8 am to 2 pm. This is a long time for teachers to educate the children. Many students, specially teenagers, argue that the topics that are being thought in school today won’t help them in the future. They say that the equations and the dates that they are being thought won’t make them any more successful. These statements are partly true. Why? Because students are learning dates and equations that are important but not in a sense that will make them successful in their adult lives. Instead schools and other educational institutions should do is to teach students how to be life smart. Schools are too busy teaching students how to be school smart when they should be focusing on how to make them life smart. Many companies nowadays hire people not because they can do a difficult math problem but instead because of their principles and they values as a person. That is what schools nowadays are missing.
